Data 4.1:  
Global Comments:
Over view, numbered, not as positive, suggestions on how to make the conclusion stronger and positive note in the beginning.
Bubble Comments:
More direct, organized, tied to text, make's suggestions, positive feedback, allowing for more generalizations.

Data 4.2:
Global comment towards the end, in a paragraph form. Unlike the first data set, there is no numbers, it's more straight forward. It give's suggestions on how to pick a theorist to inform the writer's view of the argument which is a helpful suggestion from the teacher to the student. The paper is more formatted unlike the first data, it breaks down the parts the writer is focusing on. As for the bubble comments- it's positive suggestions. It's tied to the text and within the bubble comment it is tied to certain points in the paper, making suggestions. It give's suggestions whether bulletin points work well or not in the paper towards the end.

Data 4.3:
Global comments are in the beginning, numbered and is positive. The global comments is broken into two parts criteria and form, both with suggestions. The paper begins with a saying from Dr. Suess, then the introduction begins. Bubble comments-suggestions on elaborating more on certain characteristics. Positive feedback, questions in which the writer can answer within his or her writing.

Data 4.4:
Global comments are at the end of the paper. It's positive feedback and it give's suggestions on how to clarify and elaborate more on his or her focus. Bubble comments are tied to the text and points out areas in the text that isn't clear or what works well and what doesn't.

My research question would be: Are the global comments effective at the end or in the beginning of the paper?  As a writer, I have always been use to my teacher's comment in the end, I think in the beginning it would overwhelm me. I like to see the comments the professor writes through out my paper and then at the end I like to read the comments. I've noticed that there are patterns between these four data sets, each one has positive feedback, all are tied to the text, some in paragraph form while others are numbered. The formats were different even though each writer had the same format, it was just written in a different way.
